Leaving Cert OL History

Basically, I am doing my Leaving Cert this year and I've dropped to OL History because I personally have lost interest in the subject and I can afford to drop at least one honours. Anyways, I was wondering, how much detail would you need for OL essays? How long must they be? and so on. Thanks for your help :)
