Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Thats fair enough, but because its not specifically related to Sligo, you might still be better in one of the Dublin Forums, or even the cycling forums.

    Heard about this on the radio, AFIK they are doing this in Dublin and Cork and the organisers are looking for volunteers to start it up in other towns, maybe this is what the OP is talking about?
