Mk4 Fiesta indicator stalk replacement

    Replaced the indicator stalk on a Mk 4 fiesta, using one sourced from a scrapers.

    Original issue is now resolved, but as soon as I turn on the ignition the wiper fuse in the fuse box beside the steering wheel blows.

    The only thing I can think of is the number stamped on the indicator relay on the replacement par is different than the one in the original stalk

    The car is not here at the moment so I can't check my theory.

    Can anybody else shed light or make a suggestion as to what my issue might be?

    In the spirit of full disclosure, the car I was working on is a '99, the "new" stalk came from a '97
