Found 10 euro under the bed so members of the football , Soccer Tips Thread what do you suggest?

Id probably stick it on United -1 for the Ajax game tomorrow night. Should get around 11/5.

Over 45 points in the Stoke/Valencia game 6/4.

Rasmussen in charge. Usually gives 3 or 4 cards a game.

In Europe this season Stoke have gotten 2 or 3 cards in virtually every game as have Valencia.
I fancy this to be a tight game and with Stoke hitting Valencia with an entirely different style of play I think Valencia might resort to a lot of fouling. Albelda and Victor Ruiz are both likely to start and both are very fond of their cards. I also expect Stoke to be aggressive and in Valencia's faces.

Looks a good bet to me anyway.

Ffs lol need to start listening to my own tips posted Cardozo and ibrahimovich anytime scores 5/1 then forgot to back it and went with benfica or draw instead gutted

    Oh well try again today

    Man united win
    Man city win
    Valencia win
    10/1 £10

    Man united or draw
    Man city or draw
    Valencia or draw
    Evens £50

Wouldn't be overly confident in Man City winning in Portugal.. Porto are tough opposition at home, unbeaten in all competitions in the Estadio Dragao!

    Home form in the Primeira Liga; P 10 W 9 D 1 L 0 F 30 A 6

Home form in Champions League this season has been less convincing though, one win and two draws.

Still a gulf in class between the two but I would be wary backing City

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,886 ✭✭✭MoscowFlyer

City's away form recently isn't the best. I don't think I'd touch that game tonight.

    Early games:

    Man Utd @ 10/11
    Salzburg/Metalist Ov 2.5 @ 11/10
    AZ/Anderlecht Ov 2.5 @ 4/5

    Just over 6/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,610 ✭✭✭shocksy

Gone big on United tonight, Hopefully they get the job done early in the game and kill it off.

    €110 @ 10/11

    Valencia
    Schalke
    United
    Lazio

    AZ Alkmaar - Anderlecht.
I have a niggling feeling Anderlecht might have too much for AZ.
based mostly on Anderlecht having won every single match in the EL so far and AZ scraping through their group.

What makes me doubt is AZ's home record in Europe which is pretty good.
Still, i dont think there is more to get for AZ than a draw.

Probably pick BTTS for this one as well as for Trabzonspor - PSV.

I noticed this game was on and was considering backing Dundalk but thought i could be throwing away my money.

They're 5/4 on 365. Why are you so confident or are you a dundalk fan, hence the smiley?

Back out to 10/11. And drifting nearly right across the board on oddschecker. Anyone worried about this?

    Big double for me

    United 17/20
    AC 11/10

    50 returns 194.25

A LOT of United backers for tonight.. here's hoping lads! Hopefully follow the footsteps of the Ibra Wincasts last night:D

Jesus lads, your braver than me.

United have been absolute muck in europe this season, doesnt matter how poor Ajax have been, still cant have faith in United.

    Good luck thou

Is there a partucular reason why I can do a double of Man Utd -1 and Wayne rooney to score anytime? Bet365 btw

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 20,862 Mod ✭✭✭✭inforfun

Other than that they wont allow it, i cant think of another reason.
You are not doing anything wrong in any case.

    Is that a typo?

rooney anytime will affect the odds of the -1 so they shouldnt be allowed in a double

Cheers, am thinking of doing a treble of over 1.5 goals in the two matches you mentioned and the man utd game at around 11/10. Do you think its a solid enough bet?

Already backed Man Utd last week and can only be happy i did when i saw the squad they brought to Holland

And this is what i just put up:

1 Goal (both teams to score) AZ v Anderlecht
(Goal / No Goal) 16/02/2012 None 1.61 To Run
2 Goal (both teams to score) Trabzonspor v PSV
(Goal / No Goal) 16/02/2012 None 1.72 To Run
3 Goal (both teams to score) Steaua Bucharest v FC Twente
(Goal / No Goal) 16/02/2012 None 1.83 To Run

That should answer your question :D

Have a live bet running that should finish before kick off in the AZ game. if it wins i put the profit on a 1-1 in the AZ -Anderlecht match.

Ajax & Man Utd line ups:

Manchester United: De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Fabio, Carrick, Nani, Young, Cleverley, Rooney, Hernández SUBS: Amos, Smalling, Park Ji-Sung, Scholes, Valencia, Pogba, Welbeck

Ajax: Vermeer, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Anita, Koppers, Eriksen, S. de Jong, Aissati, Sulejmani, Bulykin, Özbiliz SUBS: Cillessen, Boilesen, Blind, Van Rhijn, Lodeiro, Serero, Lukoki.

Just done Man Utd and Man City to win @ 9/2

That line up looks pretty good :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

    Treble of:
    Schalke 04
    Metalist Kharkiv DNB
    Athletic Bilbao DNB
    @ 4.40

the odds on Schalke and Bilbao have dropped a lot and Metalist are a very nice team to watch, I think they can win, they beat another Austrian team twice in the group stage.

I'm thinking the exact sane thing. Anderlecht have been excellent in the Europa this season and are going strong in Belgium. They've been underestimated by the bookies all year too. DNB 7/4 is very tempting.

Having seen that team I'm on Man Utd -1 handicap at 9/4 with Hill.
