By my timestamp, she was late for the Naval Salute, I don't know if she participated in that, but she was expected to have been. So she would have been flying her colours and honours.

But I don't know, I did think it a little unusual to see both flags flying all right.

BTW if you are live she is leaving right now.

She took part in the review alright. She anchored early Friday morning. That photo is taken whilst underway to the City.

Will have to write to the First Sea Lord.......... :D:D:D

Took these 2 photos off Rosslare last year.

Feel free to upload these to Marinetraffic.com or do whatever you want with them. No need to give credit. I'd be more than happy to see them being used.

Are cargo nets not required under gangways any more? (just a general question)

I doubt Government vessels are encompassed by that

    Most definatly seem to
Might be as they are using an inclosed gangway, like a long tunnel, deceiving from the photo size and just how far she was standing off from the dock.

Back in there yesterday, another one of these vessels, bigger, Swire Pacific's Pacific Orca.

    PacificOrca-Eenshaven.jpg

As they move into deeper water, the offshore wind game seems to be coming of age, using purpose built installation vessels. Big business in the German Bight region.
Guess could be seeing these or similar vessels off Dublin in future when work on the Dublin Array eventually kicks off.

Richmond sounds like a much more interesting life, I bet the complement of Roisin wouldn't mind some of that action!

I'm sure there's a couple of aircraft carriers / subs / cruisers on the markets for more than that.
