Dont see a Yes / No poll there. No worries.

Thanks DeVore for poll and merging threads.

It might be interesting to have a poll that boards users who have voted can indicate their choice. Simple Yes, No, Did not vote choices.

You realise there's an actual poll to vote on, right? :)

Swallowed my pride and voted yes. I hate that the government will use this to prove they have support though (if it passes). I truly hate FF and the Green party. Utter scum the lot of them.

Just out of interest does anyone know if the odds are still the same with PaddyPower? i.e. 1/25 for yes 8/1 for no?

I'm going to the local bookies in a moment, I'll let everyone know.

Significant jump in the Yes on this poll.
(I know, I know, early days)

I presume they're worried an exit poll may affect the result.

What the point of having an 'I didn't vote option'? Polls haven't closed yet and exit polls by definition ask questions of those who voted hense thier accuracy relative to opinion polls.

I don't see why they'd think that... I mean there's exit polls for general elections all the time, would they not prejudice that vote? And was there not polls for Lisbon 1?

I don't recall legislation being passed, so it would mean that all media outlets (or perhaps the pollsters themselves, but i doubt that) decided not to do exit polls this time also !

Can anyone clarify? I find it a bit strange that's all

I haven't voted yet, but I'll be voting yes this evening.

Agreed, the "didnt vote" option isnt necessary

Exit polls are never released while polls are still open. There may be no law agaisnt it but I certainly never recall see one in this country published while voting was still going ahead.

RTE occasionally conduct Exit polls for General and Local/European elections. However they had none for the last Lisbon vote and will not have one for this vote either. Part of reason (aside from the cost) is that votes are tallied much quicker in a referendum than in a General Election.

Well it adequately covers those who spoiled their vote or who have no intention of voting.

I which case this is an opinion poll and not an exit poll.

can this be put under "announcement" on the frontpage? or somewhere more prominent

more people, more sample size from more forums and less bias
