Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    There are standards, if you leave a mark you get in trouble. You can also only hit them a certain amount of times. Half the time you see the jockey go to hit the horse he doesnt. The horse has great vision and can see the whip, see the jockey wave it around.

    When I used to ride(not in races, showjumping) I used a whip, Im convinced it doesn't actually hurt them, it gets their attention. Then again I never hit them hard.
