Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Leaving Cert Engineering

    Hi does anyone know where its possible to do leaving cert engineering outside school. The class in our school is full.

    The ease of doing this depends on your county, but it is definitely possible. Get the advice of an experienced teacher on the process needed to complete your project. Inform the exam's secretary in your school of your intention to sit the paper also. This is usually around the time of the mocks. If you're interested in getting grinds in the subject, keep an eye on notice-boards/ search online (http:// grinds.ie/index.html). Best wishes.

    I would presume it works on the basis that Construction Studies and DCG do, if it does you must complete your project in school in front of the teacher who can sign off to say it is your own individual work. So to me doing it outside of school may not be possible

    Does any rinds schools offer engineering ?

    Might be harder to do a practical subject in a school you're not a student in since there would probably be issues with insurance and stuff
