Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Hi guys, Getting back into the game and downloaded the game files on my 32 bit laptop (through the wow game client) but was planning on transferring the files onto my new 64 bit desktop, is that going to be a problem? Cheers

Getting back into the game and downloaded the game files on my 32 bit laptop (through the wow game client) but was planning on transferring the files onto my new 64 bit desktop, is that going to be a problem?

Shouldn't be.

In the battle.net launcher you now use, when you click on WoW, select options and you can toggle between 64bit and 32bit.

I believe both sets of files are contained within the one folder, and it's a case of separate ones being utilised for 64bit.

So oyu should be fine, just simply select launch 64bit from the launcher options
