    Hey guys,
I have a presentation in college in a few weeks and we have to do it on an Irish celebrity and how the Irish media has potrays and covers them.

I have been given Georgia Salpa. I just want to know your views on her coverage in the media latley. Bad, good? too much, too little?

Hearing your feedback would be great information to put into my presetation:)

    Thanks!

From what I've seen of her.. she's quite a good role model for young Irish girls.. She took no crap off Best, she hasn't done any nude shots, always carries herself very well.. she seems like a fairly level headed girl.. I wish her the best..

    Stunningly beautiful.

Georgia Salpa was created in 1942 by Walt Disney and Ub Lwerks. Her best known relatives are her uncle Mortimer and her twin nieces, Millie and Melody. She was first voiced by Walt Disney. Marjorie (Norton) Ralston, a Disney inker, took over in 1929. Then, from 1930 up until 1938, she was voiced by Marcellite Garner.

Then from 1939 to 1947 she was voiced by Thelma Boardman. Following this, from 1942 up to 1986 Ruth Clifford provided the character's voice. Now, as of 1986, she is voiced by Russi Taylor. Her Japanese voice is by Yuko Mizutani.

Well, that's either Georgia Salpa or Minnie Mouse.

Is it true she has a degree in maths and physics?

To much press lately about her. She doesn't do anything apart from stand around on the street in a bikini.
Best of luck with the project

Doing a bit of your own research on Georgia :) I honestly think she will never be a celebrity that will be in your face the whole time and is a genuine girl. She got bad press from appearing on CBB but she hasn't let it affect her in any and I know she dresses scantily but that's her job after all.

I guess the project is going to be mainly about how men perv over pictures of "celebrities".

    Is there anything else?

The Irish media put a photo of her latest photo shoot for the week into their paper with some sexual pun slogan like "Georgia gives a dog a bone". She is an Irish model which basically entails turning up to a photo shoot for a marketing or charity campaign, then being seen at certain locations around George's Street and Grafton Street so you can get free drink and free food from the places you go to. The other thing they do is throw themselves at Leinster Rugby players. Then when they get a little bored with the same mundane, soul-destroying, uninspiring photoshoots they decide to become a part-time DJ, though hardly an original, groundbreaking DJ.
And the red-headed media society columns report on all this irrelevance constantly. There is a template lifestyle for an Irish model where the activities they do don't change, only the names and faces of the models change. The media don't care what the models have to say unless it is to do with socialising or fashion, and neither do the simpletons who love to read all that tripe.

she first came to public attention doing ads for a state employment body, and was known simply as 'the FÁS girl'...

She looks like Michael Jackson, post plastic surgery, with big jugs. There's also a look of the Nana Mouscouri's about her. She seems very dim, but that's probably part of her job. Hope that helps.

Stunning looking with a body you could crack a walnut off, but needs to be careful not to get too much "work" done.

The media has been kind to her generally but that could change and with it her golden girl image so she needs to thread carefully.

I would say she's a decent role model with how she's dealth with things so far (Best, BB etc)

And finally...I'd do 10 years for her :D

Which reminds me OP. Don't forget to document the bitterness she receives from the insecure female population. ;)
