what is a Local Tertiary Road

    Hate to sound stupid, but what is a "Local Tertiary Road"??

    I don't know if there are primary, secondary and tertiary divisions within roads classed as local roads so it may mean any local roads, as opposed to the National Primary and Secondary (N roads) or Regional (R roads).

    I would assume that it is the lowest class of "local" non national roads. A little back road if that makes sense.
