I have a pair of red jeans that are super bright, I wanna do one of two things take the brightness out of them or darken them a bit. So I was thinking the easiest way to do it would be do like a black overdye? Anyone know the best way to do this and where to pick up the dye?

I tried dying some cotton trouser purple one time (I was a teenager at the time) and it worked. I think I put them in the wash cycle twice with a bit of this stuff I bought (where, alas, I cannot remember). I would try Hickeys. The ladies there know a lot about sewing, fabrics, temperatures to wash and iron at etc They're super
