Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Stolen car + ibook

    Yeah I know probably the wrong place ... mods feel free to move it...

    My car + laptop was stolen a few hours ago .. so if anyone sees an ibook going *too* cheap in buy and sell or being flogged outta the below car maybe let me know via PM.

    Car was Stolen from drimnagh area .. BMW 316I 92 -G - 3515

    Its a 12' Ibook G4 1.2 + bag + 2.5 usb mobile disc .. i havent the serial but apple should have a copy as it was bought direct

    about 11 months old so has a few normal wear and tear scratches ..

    TBH dont give a crap about the car right now ... the laptop ... well... there is alot of personal and work related stuff on it .. and while i wish its battery was crap, it was fully charged and has about 6 hrs left .. I feel like I'm on big brother. :(...

    mightn't be a bad idea to post in on usenet uk.comp.sys.mac as well. I'll post if you want, but the serial would be handy.

    well .. just found the car burned and no trace of my lappie in the boot, so someone has it ... there is also a portable 2.5 USB "MOBILE DISK" in a black leather case with it..

    Somone will need a PSU to get it working after the battery dies..so will need to call in...

    havent been able to get the serial though .. I didnt register the serial once I got it so my mac id doesnt link to it and email i registered the sale with doesnt contain details about the transaction (too far back) .. trying to find old emails which might have the details about it . but no luck so far ...

    appricatate if you could post on the usenet .. maybe it will turn up .. put word out around my area too .. car was found close by...
