Anyone heading in to town tonight?

I'm thinking the fitz 75+5 freezeout or the Jackpot gamble fest.
    Which usually gets more numbers?

Went into the €80 in the fitz, good tourney, plenty of runners. Down to last three tables (20 left I think). I'd say it gets quite crapshooty towards the end with the antes in play.

Ended up going out versus a well played J8 vs a utg raiser. Some old lad called Paddy (i'm sure everyone knows him but i'm not a regular on the dublin scene)

Great game, thoroughly enjoyed it and will hopefully be back.

Seeing as there will be a few of us, how about a jocky bet?

we all pick a runner out, and whoever has the first out scoops the loot (better than a jocky last longest as you always get paid while still in the tourney, not having to wait till 3am)

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,212 ✭✭✭ITT-Pat

inski. is it random or do ya pick a player. if so, i want jeff;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,022 ✭✭✭✭Mellor

I was thinking random, out of the hat
that way, everyone who is in, is a jockey

Good read Pat in fairness!!! lol

I fancy a little cash session tonight. I'm guessing the Fitz is still the only decent option?

Any sign of the dealing standards in the SE improving or is the lack of punters making that an irrelevant question?

Think so Noel. It has been this way for the last 6 months or more.

Ah the rig-o-meter works!! A nice long break from poker guarantees a profitable return to the game :D

I think I'll take another 8 week break before I return again. Fool proof strategy. :p

    Details please? :)

    Pretty boring Danny tbh.

A "playa" tried to float me and then fired two barells. +€170

A gimp calls a pot bet in EP with 45o for about 7% of his stack and flops the nuts whilst I flop middle set with 33 but the dealer pairs the board on the river to deliver some poker justice. ;) +€180

I flop two pair in a raised pot with A4s from the BB and lead into a AK4 flop and get called and raised by K3 and KJ respectively and then KJ stacks off for all his monies when I reraise +€200

I "earn" another €100 being aggressive in certain spots and I leave after 2 hours with €685 profit.

Pokah is easy but I know its all a ploy to get me back on the drug!!! :P
