you need a salmon/sea trout license when fishing, all fish must be tagged if being kept. these are 120 euro/year, and also available for shorter periods.

on the moy you'll need a day ticket in most spots these are available from the fisheries themselves and some are available from tiernans in foxford.

tickets are around 25-50 euro day. fishing is good with a lot of grilse around usually. best methods would be prawn (where permitted) and bubble and fly or spinner.

Enquire about the Attymass anglers area, Paddens is a nice pool. You can try fishing the estuary too for sea trout if you want. Usually good results on a sand eel or a strip of mackerel.
