Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    15-10 O'Sullivan going into the final session.

    He's won all three sessions in the final, 5-3, 5-4 and today 5-3.

    O'Sullivan could maybe have had a larger lead but credit to Carter he got going and really must go for it from the start tonight.
    Win the first session 3-1 and it's all to play for.

    Wasn't some player once (a natural leftie) offended that Ronnie was taking shots with his left hand? Can't remember who but, he thought it was Ronnie taking the piss and disrespecting him.

    D'ont think it will last too long tonight. Carter seems to be too busy trying to stop O'Sullivan from playing and then when he gets in himself he is has forgotten how to pot, he should just be going for it.

    Easier said than done though.

    No, that never happened.

    O'Sullivan played a few left handed shots closing out the match with Robideoux in the Cruicble, Robideoux felt his was taking the piss and had a moan about it in his press interview.

    The funny thing is O'Sullivan didn't play left handed as often as he does now but he still could play left handed and play perfect snooker left handed. The way Robideoux went on you would think O'Sullivan was playing left handed and missing everything. Sour grapes that time from Robideoux who is incidentally a really nice person.

    Yes, in fact it did. Robideaux complained that O'Sullivan had been "Ungentlemanly". Ronnie had to play three frames left-handed against Rex Williams (I used to think it was Doug Mountjoy...but Wikipedia says RW) - he won all three and the complaint was dismissed.

    I agreed with Alain at the time. It was the big turn off for me with Ronnie. I never celebrated his talent.

    though now I am slightly warming to him...:)
