    Hi,

Just came across this forum and I have a quick question. The volume button on my 2003 Zafira, is loose and does not work. Is there a way of tightening it up?

The radio is a VDO CDR500E.

    Cheers.

If you feel no friction when control is turned then it is faulty and needs to be replaced. It is a very common fault with this model stereo.

Thanks. Would I need to go to a main dealer to have the button replaced, or is it an easy job?

Main dealer would not have a clue on how to replace the control. You need to check in your area for someone who repairs car stereos...
