He asked me for directions to this hotel, But he couldnt understand them. He asked me would I drive my car in front of him and lead him to the hotel, He said he would pay me. I agreed to do so. Once we arrrived at the hotel I pulled my car and turn it off and got out. The driver got outas will as his passenger, He was full og thanks as was the passenger. The driver went to hand me 10 euro for what I have done, But I kindly said "no thanks." He replied: "Take the money, it only small and you were very kind to do this." But there was no way I would take the money. I turned to the passenger and said: "Tell your friend to put away his money, I done this as a good deed and nothing else." He replied: "If your not taking the money let me just say, "Thanks a million for doing this, It was very kind of you. I wish you the very best." I thanked him and I wished them a enjoable saty at the hotel, Got into the car and as I drove down the road, I thought. It really does feel nice to do a good deed....
was your house emptied by his mates with a van while you were "busy" leading this guy to a hotel?

at least they had the good manners to thank you for it and let you know they appreciated what you did.

Others just "expect" good deeds to be done to them, as if it is their entitlement.

Ya, the "thank you" ect. was alot more worth while. But they said they where driving around the area for the last 30min. I was at nothing else at the time so I thought, why not....

Em 50 euro? I can honestly say, I would have refused it. As 50 euro would seem stupid to take, just to drive 7 miles.
You're not a taxi driver then.
