    Hey there!

I'm an International Development Studies student looking to go on exchange to Ireland for one term. I'm looking between Trinity College and UCD and I was wondering if anyone knew which university is better in terms of academics (Political Science, International Relations, Sociology areas) and also in terms of college life (i.e. entertainment, culture, food, pubs, etc.)?

Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing your response!

Trinity generally has/had the better reputation in political science. But a lot of faculty have moved on/retired.

But I think they still beat UCD in the rankings.

Both excellent, though. I'd choose Trinity for the location and campus. And ambience.

If you're only in Ireland for a year I'd say go with Trinity, you've got the historic campus right in the centre of Dublin close to all the attractions.
