Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    A key member of the well respected midlands posse Cyberdawg, Shook has been rattling a few dancefloors of late with his own take on 160 and up bass n breaks. A recent series of quality mixes left us in no doubt that we had to have this party linchpin on the buttons for our second instalment.

    This mysterious figure will be flying in specially from the Belgian hinterlands, bringing an undoubtedly sublime stack of wax from his lair. Known to have stewarded a looong list of top notch gigs since 2008 in a place called Cork, this international man of mystery returns to his native Galway for one night only. Beware.

    - ABOUT GET BOOGIE! -

    CHOONS!
    Get Boogie!, a Galway clubnight which took over from Choonage, sister session to the much loved Jungle Boogie! series and cousin of the recent Get Busy project..

    Music policy - Bass,breaks,footwork, jungle with occasional experimental and niche showcases.

    Selection will be taken care of by resident Welfare and a selection of guests from across the spectrum each month.

    VENUE/SOUND
    Factory, a comfortable enclave within the Electric Garden complex, has seen some restructuring of late and conditions are now ripe for the birth of a fresh underground experience. High grade audio quality comes courtesy of the recent instalment of a Void Sound System in the space, guaranteeing low end weight as well as high end clarity. The main club area next door will be closed, ensuring an intimate, comfortable atmosphere populated by choon connaisseurs and solid crew.

    Upstairs, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Groove will abound in the party-time smoking area and the extra impressive Cocktail bar,"The Glasshouse" (only open Fridays) will be pushing out the exotica next door until the small hours.

    To top it all off, there will be no admission charge on the door!
