    This isn't a survey but I was moved here, anyway. I know something similar was posted, but that was three years ago and I'm looking to get some opinions on a piece I want to write on sex in ireland. This IS NOT A COLLEGE ASSIGNMENT! I'm just interested in the subject, and am considering writing an opinion piece on it for something or other.

    The Durex survey says Ireland isn't any more sexually repressed than any other country. But I don't see that that's the case at all.. I think we have a serious issue with Catholic guilt around sex.

    Am I right, or living in a Catholic-school educated bubble?

    What do y'all think? Irish people take sex so so seriously I think!

    irish people are frigid in comparison to the rest of Europe. there is nothing inherently dirty with sex or the naked human form yet time and time again people here seem to find fault with one or both of them. sex is seen as something to be laughed at hidden away and "managed" . i dont want to start finger pointing at one sector or gender but at this stage all i want to do is have some fun before i die but if i was to rely on having fun over here it would never happen.

Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
