Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

Wasn't sure where to put this, Erykah Badu is hip-hop enough, isn't she?

What yas think? I personally love it, a step up from Baduizm I reckon. A lot of new things tried and sounds really fresh, not much else like it out there. Soldier (http://youtube.com/watch?v=BWC96R4YnEI) is definitely the standout track for me.

Gets a bit too preachy at times and seems a little self-indulgent but if you can ignore some of these moments it's a fantastic listen.

    Defo worth a download/buy imo.

All of the producers on the album are Hip-Hop producers, and so yes the albums Hip-Hop. And its easily one of the best Hip-Hop albums I've heard this year.
