Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    This lad Rosco has such a sad story. He was surrendered to Meath Pound today and was due to come to me for fostering, but escaped from the guy who was keeping him until I got home from work.

    He's a badly neglected and very scared 2y.o Lab with no road sense and is not approaching anyone. He legally belongs to Dogs in Distress now. I caught sight of him at 7.30pm in Hunstown ave D15 but is so scared he just runs.

    Could anyone with common sense with scared dogs try and catch him (carefully) or trap him in somewhere and PM only if caught thanks.

    No sign of him today at all. I really hope he hasn't been hit by a car :(

    I went yesterday to look for him, I live nearby, today as well I had eyes open but no sign :(

    No sign since Thursday evening. Lots of people have been out looking but nothing :(

    Edit: he's been spotted up in Summerseat in Clonee in a sectioned off part of an unfinished estate. Someones been feeding him the last 2 days. No sign when we went up earlier, but he's very nervous so probably just hiding out. Phew! At least he's still alive.

    I saw a dog just like him wandering around the Latchford area on Good Friday. He caught my eye because he was near the main road and I couldn't see anybody with him. If I see him again, I'll try bring him home and contact you then.

    After 6 days on the run, he's finally been caught. He's in poor condition and currently getting checked over at the vet. Fingers crossed he's ok. He's off the streets though which is great news.
