What are the white lumps in my throat

My throat has been feeling funny all evening. It's a feeling I've gotten loads of times before and reminds me of the sick feeling I get in my throat when I have a bug or cold coming on.

I decided to look in my throat and I can see tiny little whitish spots. They are painless and odourless but my throat is quite sticky.

The last time my throat was like this I went to my gp because i thought it was candida because I had candida before and it felt the same but the gp said he couldn't see anything wrong and I could tell he was annoyed with me visiting 'because my throat felt funny'.

I would attach a photo but don't know how to!!

Thanks for any insight you could offer!
