    Thanks Humanji

It was actually a tongue in cheek post. Should have used a :)

I do think it is fanciful thinking that the police would do that. They don't enjoy riots.

not quite true if the argument put forward is not inflammatory(sp??)and doesnt link to blatantly sh1te youtube video's or is quoting RT or freeman ideology etc.If put forward intelligently the view point will either stand or fall by its own merits.

most extreme ideologies whether left or right wing might sound good on paper but the majority of people realise putting them into into practise wont work.

Anti-establishment view points are in the minority so will always get flack from the majority of people anyway.

I remember reading a post by DeVore(might of even been in this thread) about a strange invite he got to an american embassy xmas do and having a chat with a an american embassy employee who was a 'translator'(:pac:)who said he checks newspapers, websites etc to see who's who.Apparently his parents still occasionly get a xmas card from the us embassy!

as for whether i believe there are paid trolls.Im sure there are.i think they are called PR specialists.but they are in the minority.

Why did you mention RT and the Freeman ideology and not Fox News, The Sunday Times and neo liberalism or Ayn Randists?

There's actually a fair amount of evidence that it does happen. It's not really something that's disputed much.

It's actually been proven to happen. Here is an example. http://www.theweek.co.uk/politics/8731/police-infiltrator-exposes-cops%E2%80%99-dodgy-protest-tactics

this is not a conspiracy theory. it's a known fact that governments in europe, australia, canada, and the usa pay trolls to persuade them to go along with their imperialist theories. even the corporate media has reported about them. if you want more info look up romas coin, booz allen hamilton, team themis, cybercom, and the best of them all, echelon. you must remember that the internet was invented by the u.s military specifically to spread disinformation, and spy on people. the u.s govt does not spend billions of dollars on something so that you can enlighten and enjoy yourselves.

CENTCOM Activities in the Information Environment: Consistent with the guidance provided by Secretary Gates last December, we conduct Operation Earnest Voice (OEV), which synchronizes and oversees all of our Information Operations activities. OEV seeks to disrupt recruitment and training of suicide bombers; deny safe havens for our adversaries; and counter extremist ideology and propaganda. Full funding of OEV supports all activities associated with degrading the enemy narrative, including web engagement and web-based product distribution capabilities. The effective engagement of our enemies in cyberspace requires the ability for us to conduct a full-spectrum of traditional military activities against them in that domain, including all aspects of Information Operations and Strategic Communication. We coordinate with the Joint Staff, the Interagency, the Intelligence Community, and our coalition partners to examine the adversary’s use of cyberspace and identify techniques, tactics and procedures we can use to counter the adversary in the cyber domain."

The same simpletons who were saying years ago that the economy would be crashing around this time. This at a time when the majority of people were on a spending spree thinking it would never end because thats what they were hearing on tele. Now, who are the simpletons?

Alex Jones fans predicted the global economy would crash as a result of toxic equities proliferating around the world markets in the middle credit boom ? Do show me where this claim was made pre-crash.

Or did they shout doooom...gloooomm...the system is coming down maaaannn enough times to coincide with something. Anything.

People who buy his tshirts. I thought I was clear on that point. Many people called the crash (should have been obvious, given it's classic property bubble nature, seen it all before) and didn't wear his tshirts, and their arguments were based on something other than someone elses opinion. I have yet to meet a troofer who understands economics at even an elementary level, and yet they all claim profound wisdom in the field. It would seem to me that the only thing that matches a troofer's voracious appetite for Alex Jones merchandise is their power of self delusion and grandeur.

Anyway, this is off the topic of the government using forums to spread their agenda, which even I think is true.

Right. The latter then....in amongst the usual anti-capitalist polemic there are few vague claims about the price of various things including petrol becoming inaffordable. Hasn't happened.

Financial and economic collapse of the world and the end of capitalism ? Hasn't happened.

Apparently we'd all be better off without income tax ! ...this guy is an anarchist or libertarian, neither of those political systems will be coming to a screen near you soon.

If this is what you're clinging to as foresight of the economic environment today then you should go away and look up 'confirmation bias'

    Keep buying the t-shirts. Man.

I've yet to meet a troofer. Ever. What is a troofer?

  • Site Banned Posts: 8,331 ✭✭✭Brown Bomber

what's all this talk about t-shirts?
I find myself attracted to t-shirts. It is more than just seeing a cute shirt and wanting to have it, I am actually attracted to it as if it were a woman. I love women still and I even think a cute shirt on my wife is better than lingerie. When I say cute lately it's Hello Kitty shirts, Eeyore Shirts, and really any character tee especially woman's. I have been searching all over the internet and I have never found another answer about this. Is there anyone else that feels the same about me?

If you ever contribute to a thread on the subject of marijuana and you get PMs asking you where to score, beware!:):)

The only animal that doesn't like cannabis is the pig, and some of them have too much time on their hands.

The greatest trick the eliteists ever played was convincing the average man that economics are important.

Unfortunately skeppies can't see past the nose on their face. Pity.

Nope. One person has said it here in the history of the forum.

So once again you are going to say something here but be afaid to say what you really mean. Rather spineless isn't it?

My comrades in troof? Is JREF down or something...?

Anyway, your really laughing at yourself while your attacking your strawman.

For example "infowars" was mentioned/linked-to 5 times this month on this forum.

Once by your T-shirt enthusiast and anti-troof comrade today, once by someone who was arguing against the conspiracy and twice by you.

Your the only one who cares about Alex Jones and his T-Shirts- You are actually advertising his site and products here :o

    Are you shilling for infowars?

How do you define 'many people'?
and their arguments were based on something other than someone elses opinion. I have yet to meet a troofer who understands economics at even an elementary level, and yet they all claim profound wisdom in the field. People who saw the crash coming do understand economics better than most. Thats fairly obvious.
Anyway, this is off the topic of the government using forums to spread their agenda, which even I think is true.

Be careful or you might get called a troofer!

Its amazing how many people are starting to see the light. ;) A few years ago you'd be called a conspiracy theorist (or something worse) for daring to suggest governments might have secret agendas.
