I've a nasty decision on my hands.

    Do I -

    A) Tax the car for 3 months
    B) Use motor tax money and get my race licence

    Decisions decisions....

It's been 2 weeks and the insurance has already been sorted and our car repaired, waiting on assessor for his.

@Gary ITR: Nah, not a single Fcuk was given about it seeing as they're thinking of changing it anyway in the new year.

Found the plate from my late dad's sierra in the shed

    Registration 92D31500
    Make FORD
    Model SIERRA
    Description 1.8 TD LASER
    Fuel Type DIESEL

He said it got 50mpg and I recall he got it for 500 pounds... in 98?

Some dude side-swiped him and the car got written off unfortunately.

Not really many about these days, a pity. Imagine that back then I thought it looked crap!

Had to look some info for a Hyundai I30 last night, came across the owners club forum - worst owners club ever! Had me screaming at the laptop with their drivel presented as fact. Constant references to bulbs as "globes" and "my car broken, altenator voltage iz 14.4, way to high" "yes, something iz wrong their, mine is 12V"

Jogging becomes worthwhile when you get to hear a V6 Crossfire hum past and straight after an Impreza with a very imprezive (see what I did there? :pac:) exhaust note goes past...

And then not so worthwhile when a truck passes and you get a gallon of diesel smoke into the eye.

    eireplates probably the easiest

Local Motor Factors. Plates, 2 self tapping screws for each plate and a portable power drill.

Fronts are usually very easy in to a plastic bumber. Rear plates in to the metal boot always give me nightmares.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,668 ✭✭✭eringobragh

    Get pressed plates as well!

    Get pressed plates as well!

If you do, handle with care! I've found there are quite often sharp edges on the metal plates.

Plus, they are a pain in the hole to get in to plate surrounds in comparison to plastic plates.:(

Might as well jump in on this thread...
