Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Alu-wood / Alu-clad / Aluminium Windows

    Hi everyone,

    We're at a very important juncture in the building of our extension - we need to look at ordering our windows and are really unsure what to do, as this is our first time doing any kind of building work at all...

    As it stands, we've received quotes for aluminium, alu-clad and alu-wood windows. Aesthetically, there's much of a muchness. So I suppose we want to make sure we make the right decision regarding function.

    We'd really, really appreciate some advice from people who have had similar windows fitted. The dimensions we're looking at are 5m (w) X 2.4m (h) and 3m (w) X 2.4m (h).
