Installing oven in M/H

Have an adria M/H, its a big enough van but one shortfall to it for us is the lack of an oven.
I saw where someone else had added an oven to their m/h (same van as mine) to the lower section of the wardrobe which is directly above the boiler...ideal to tie into the gas supply i suppose.
Are these expensive to retrofit??...i had a quick online and they seem quite expensive.

The other option of course is a small microwave sized portable oven.

Is there such a thing as a microwave and oven all in the one package??

Another option is a small oven , the same size as a Gas grille . About 2/3s of the height of the "normal" oven . Same width .

When we mnoved into our house we actually had one of those Lild ovens for cooking in for over 2 years...great yoke that took a lot of abuse before giving up!!...might just pick up one.

Aidan...when you say small oven...do you mean something like what macy0191 linked or do u mean a small gas domestic oven(or something entirely different!!")

What I meant is a Carver/Spinflo/Smev one . Built in permanent .

Cheers aidan..yeah that would be ideal...but 500 bucks seems hard to justify for it.(dont think we spent that on the cooker at home!!)

Joey...where did you pick up the thetford one...i assume its around the same price as the smev...looking like Lidl next week!

Got the little electric grill/oven in lidl the weekend...it will do absolutely fine for the time being.
Having a proper/installed oven will be a priority though when i upgrade M/H.

I'm not sure it's as good as the lidl version, but aldi have something in on Sunday.

Sorry for dragging up an old thread, and one I posted in at that, but the electric oven and grills are back in Lidl in the next week. We never got one in the end, as it was cramped enough in a T2! However, we're in the process of upgrading...

Can I ask Marty, or anyone, how you got on with them in your vans? Any issues with them tripping hook up's? The van we're getting has a gas oven and grill actually, but if I'm paying for hook up I prefer to use it as much as possible to be honest at the prices Irish sites charge.

The only things putting me off, are if there was any issue with tripping hook up (shouldn't be if I can calculate amps ok!?!) and how to fix it in. The gas oven is in the wardrobe, so the natural place on the shelf above, but I'd have to fix it in somehow.

Ours works great... Never tripped a fuse. ..our van has 10a as are mist sites
Usually use it outside the van tho particularly in France as it would only heat up the van which your usually trying to keep cool.

Checked lidl site couldn't see it... Ours is a silvercrest I think..20l IIRC.

Yeah, not fixing it in was my other thought and using outside. Is it heavy to shift in and out?

Yeah that's same one as ours... Looks a bit more modern but essentially the same.
It's not heavy at all...pleasantly light in fact!!
We leave ours outside under the awning... That reminds me must hook up an outside power supply
