Why don't you contact the Prison Service, explain your research, and ask if anybody can give you a description, or even better, show you in person?

It's not like you can cite boards.ie as a source.

Agreed. The information you are looking for does have security implications, so best get it from the horses mouth.

Garda 'Paddy Wagons' have an individual cage. Some prison service vans appear to be open plan, while others appear to have cubicles for each prisoner. I imagine a lot of it is down to the security assessment relating to the prisoners.

Calling the Prison Services to get information on the layout, dimensions, weak points and specific types of shape charges necessary to compromise one of their vehicles might be an interesting conversation.

Tell them its for a project and it has to be ready before next Friday mornign when they do the run between Mountjoy and the CCJ on Parkgate Street :P:P:P

It's like a Japanese hotel, shiny, tiny, and thoroughly scrubbed down with anti septic after each guest.
