Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Sprited away (Japanese film)

    I recently purchaced this film and loved it I want to know what others thought...

    yeah great movie, its soo wierd to see a disney label on it though


    have you seen "Princess Mononoke" made by the same people, also really good

    yeah saw a few years ago, i also the crappy live action version with mark hammel as guyver (now that was pants)

    Dont think that was mark hammel besides i think there were 2 movies Dark hero was the second LA movie

    mark hammel was defo in it as i remember saying "what has become of your career" at one stage whil watching it :-)

    Yep. Poor old Luke was in the First Guyver film. He wasn't the Guyver himself... I think he was acting as some sort of mentor to him...

    I do remember he got turned into a rather funny looking mutant towards the end of the film.

    The second Guyver film wasn't actually that bad... like an extra voilent episode of Power Rangers with some great alien bad guys.


    As for Spirited Away, you should try and track down the other Studio Ghibli films. I got Naussica of the Valley of Wind last week, which is one of their early ones... but I think it's one of their best.

    They've got a new film coming out soon as well... Howl's Moving Castle it is called.

    cool man i have all guyver series and 2nd fim but not the first where can i get it cheaply DVD or VHS dont matter

    It doesn't seem to be available on Region 2.

    But you can get it on Region 1 DVD here:

    Yup, it's a good film. The visuals would remind you of the game "Yoshi's Island".
