Hi all, I'm looking to learn a bit about project management and planning/scheduling, are there any books that anyone would recommend that are particularly good.

    Thanks

I'm not sure of any books that deal with project management for construction only but If its a straight forward project its not too difficult.List all your tasks , work out how long each will take and sequence of works and then put all the info into a gant chart .Once you have your sequence and task times right the gant chart will illustrate it all for you

Scwazrh thanks for the reply. I am looking at more difficult projects. I found a few things via Amazon so I'm going to have a look at them.

I like the PMP exam prep by Rita Mulcahy. You can pick up old versions cheap enough.
