Does anyone know where my daughter could do engineering outside of school in Dublin because her school doesn't offer it as a subject ? Thanks in advance.

Sorry. Can't help with engineering question. Ashfield College offer DCG as an extra subject. Any good?

Don't think there's really any places that do engineering outside of school as 50% of the overall mark comes from practical work (25% from project & 25% from practical day exam) which needs to be done in school and signed off by the teacher. If engineering is a subject she really wants to do then moving to a school that has an engineering class would probably be the best option. Although if the reason she wants to do leaving cert engineering is because she's interested in doing engineering in college then focusing on maths, applied maths and the sciences (physics & chemistry) would probably benefit her more as leaving cert engineering is very different to engineering in college and isn't a prerequisite.
