Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Getting 'Please insert disk into DVD drive' message despite there being a cd in there

Apologies if this has been posted before, I've had a look but didn't see it. Basically my CD/DVD drive is not reading CDs or DVDs and giving the 'please insert' message when I try to open a CD/DVD. I've checked the drivers and it says they are all up to date and the device is working correctly, anyone have any ideas? Cheers
