Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

No-show from Josh tonight. A no-show ruins the game for the other 11 players. From now on anyone who joined through the forum has to confirm. The auto-confirming thing is finished.

People turning up over 10 minutes late consistently? Not good enough tbh. Some lads run late the odd time and have the courtesy to give me a buzz/text to let me know, or offer up their slot, so we can work with it.

Also we're quite often short €5 which means the operation is close to break-even except for the 'free' one every two weeks and that's before we count the cost of replacing balls, bibs, pumps, etc. Ultimately this thing works only if everyone does their bit even if that's as little as showing up on time.

I meant to be there. Got confused with the time changes to Tuesday and turned up ready at 9. ****ty mistake.

Apart from over Christmas and two weeks in September I've been there every Tuesday and Thursday for the last 10 months.

Fair enough. I leave my phone at home because at that stage it's too late for me to do anything about it and I don't want to be wasting 20 mins trying to sort something out. Anyway I'm not having a go at you specifically - just a general post about how the games are going.

confirm 2. I suggest maybe if everyone pays at the end there might be less chance of people forgetting and it gives a chance to monitor everybody's payment.
