Hi guys, having a problem with my new dell1545 , running on vista.
While on facebook yesterday , screen seemed to zoom out bit, seemed like i hit a wrong button maybe? Then backspace button wouldn't depress properly.

Turned off machine last night, problem still there this morning, tried to gently shake upside down in case of debris (v. unlikely), no change.

Later on , chatting on facebook, little screen comes up on left hand corner of monitor, kind of html text, don't ask me totally wild guessing there :-), then backspace key works again for a while, then screen comes up again, mad zooming out thing going on, backspace key stops working properly once more .
Arrgh, don't want to bring back to shop in case it is something really simple i am missing, also will then have to pay petrol money up to newry again , hehe.
I tried troubleshooting and googling, can't seem to come up with anything,

    can anyone help??

    Thanks :-)

If the backspace won't depress fully (ie something is stopping it), its likely debris. Depress the buttons beside/around the backspace and you might be able to see in under it.

Zooming in and out is possibly the windows magnifier utility? (Control Panel -> Ease of Access Center -> Make the computer easier to see).
