Sure you don't. The foremost scientists of their field don't know exactly how atherosclerothic plaques form, obviously you know better

Nice way to put words in my mouth. I would have thought someone who was around this forum long enough wouldnt resort to something as silly..clearly not the case

In any event..seeing as you seem to agree that fat in you diet clogs arteries...what do you suggest?? Perhaps we should all cut foods such as oily fish, nuts , oils and pretty much all meat from our diet. Because yeah.. they are so obviously the things that are going to cause heart attacks...

You shouldn't say the OP silly as he/she just gave a genuine reply Kaiser said "I do believe that fat in your diet etc..." Kaiser didn't say essential fatty acids in your diet clogs your arteries - and do you think it might be easier to debate the subject if your replies / messages were not in Cryptic - do you like forums the reason I ask is you seem irritated - the OP didn't suggest cutting out all fats as you suggest - the foods / oils your referring to contain essential fatty acids - so people on the forum are not as SILLY as you might like to think - therefore FYI - Fat in your diet clogs your arteries!.

Of course I don't agree that fat clogs your arteries. There are hunter-gatherer tribes all over the world that have around 50% dietary fat in their diet yet don't succumb to heart disease

Yes, but they're not eating transfat/hydrogenated veg oils.

I'm not even sure if that was the point. I only skimmed this thread for the lolz and read the last post

A good point, but usually people come out with statements about high-fat diets without specifying the composition of various fats. Hunter-gatherers would be eating mostly saturated and monounsaturated fats

There is no such thing as healthy chips - so you have a choice be unhealthy or eat a proper balanced diet! I'm assuming your able to glean some information from the OP's so there's your answer!
