Not really the normal kind of question here (what with the countless SUSI and BTEA threads) but I'm a U.S citizen living in Ireland. Long story short, I'm attending college here and took a student loan out and my question is: would I be able to make my monthly repayments if I went back to the states for work (probably about 6 months)? If I would be better off calling AIB then let me know, was simply wondering about getting quick help from someone knowledgeable.

Probably better to have the summer's repayments in your Irish account before you leave to avoid paying international transfer fees.
