Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    What actually is the story with this now? I remember something on the news about it before Christmas but have heard nothing since. If I remember correctly, all the people on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th... etc provisionals were up in arms about it which resulted in the delay. However won't the same problem still exist now as did back then?

    It's to come in to effect for 2nd provisional license holders on 1st july. I think the reasoning behind postponing it was to give people a chance to sit their test.
