    For tomorrow night:

Sporting Lisbon win to nil @ 7/5

Sporting have won 7 and drawn 1 of their last 8 home games, they have kept a clean sheet in all of these 8 games, which included playing the likes of Benfica and Porto. They will only be 3 points behind Braga and the last Champions League place if they win. Acamdemica haven't won in 15 games, losing the last 5 and currently sit second from bottom.

    Also backed them -1 @ 7/5.

just for interest im liking the look of these tonight.

    Colombia 00:45
    Once Caldas V Sante Fe

Once Caldes have drew 5 games out of 6 at home and away Sante fe have drew 3 out of 6 away so bet 1> draw 21/10

Out of the 5 games they have played each other all 5 have had both teams scoring so bet 2> both teams to score.

    Draw/Draw might be ok @ 9/2

    accum:
BTTS in Man City v Man Utd
    Dacia Chisinau (Moldovan league, Tuesday)
    Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldovan league, Tuesday)
Tom Tomsk not to score (Russian league, Thursday)
    @ 4.61

These two Moldovan teams are fighting for the title and neither team can afford to lose, Dacia are in good form and have a good record vs Olimpia; Krylya Sovetov have a strong defence and I'm sure they can keep Tomsk at bay.

Man Utd to win the league at 2/1

man city to win it at 7/4
dunno tempted to place a big bet on utd to win it before today's game cuz the odds can change drammatically after the game..

    Sporting Lisbon -0.5,-1 @1.6

They should win comfortably, could be by 2 or 3 goals, but the exit from the Europa League and the recent history of the teams has me erring on the side of caution with the game.

Banker for the night though, I am pretty sure since the Sporting coach took over they are 100% at home and I expect this to be no different as Academica are in terrible form after losing some good players in January

Couldn't possibly be 2/1 and 7/4 in a two runner market. If so you should be placing a big bet on both

    Thats just not possible :)

Either you have made a mistake, or less likely they have, in which case go and split the mortgage payments and back both

**** is going to get weird in the Dutch league.
If on wednesday both Feyenoord and Heerenveen win their matches, the last game of the season Heerenveen - Feyenoord could turn into a fix.
Of course we dont do fixes in Holland....

I will be watching with anticipation of a nice betting angle :)

I won't be betting on the match tonight but this caught my eye.

City to win and both teams to score 3/1.

Both sides have scored in 4 of the last 5 meetings.

You think Feyenoord will allow Herenveen the win? and leave them level on points?

reports of two 5-man midfields tonight in Manchester.
Draw would suit utd. Can't see them taking any risks. Add to that Mancini's Italian blood and It all points to a snore-draw.

Under 1.5 goals (to be on the safe side) @3/1. :pac:

You think Feyenoord will allow Herenveen the win? and leave them level on points?

    No, the other way around.

    Bit complicated
    Facts:
Cup final was PSV - Heracles which PSV won.
PSV > always EL but could still finish 2nd. In that case Heracles > EL

If they( F&H) both manage to win on wednesday, Heerenveen is best off losing against Feyenoord.
Feyenoord will then finish 2nd, PSV will pick up the EL from the cup.

Important in the league is 5th spot.

Feyenoord 2nd = 5th will qualify for EL
PSV 2nd = 5th will have to play play offs for EL.

But this is only going to be an issue if Heereveen wins away to Twente.
Cant say that happening to be honest.
Also Feyenoord will have it tough enough a home against Heracles since Heracles will have a lot to win if they manage to stop feyenoord remaining in 2nd place.

Feyenoord will miss Guidetti and most likely Fernandez.
But, an evening match in a packed Feyenoord stadium is something else. Opponents are intimidated by the atmosphere most of the times.

Actually wanted to wait with posting this scenario until after wednesdays matches.
    But since you asked... :p

Would strongly advise against that, Mancini being Italian or not City have got to win, they will be attacking, the players (Aguero, Tevez Yaya, Silva etc) are not Italian and in front of their home fans they will be going for this.

A draw is no good to City, they may as well lose as draw so defensive tactics from them make no sense

Spurs last year and Arsenal this year. Both were must win games but like the Italian way they were overly cautious

I disagree but don't have time to elaborate at the mo!

This game is at home, its for all intents and purposes a winner takes all and as much as I'd love to have it in my head a possibility that Mancini thinks a draw is ok, he simply can't.

They cannot be cautious tonight, they can't be reckless obviously, but to do anything other then do all they can to win is unthinkable.

Couple of Balotelli bets popping up, didnt Mancini say he would never play him again?
