Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Four years of Thursdays rocks up this March 8th when we have the insane Modeselektor DJ team come to blow out the candles at Wax. These Bpitch Control maddies, Gernot Bronsert & Sebastian Szary, will be unleashing their own unique mashed up DJ style combining electronix/dubstep/hip-hop/techno/ragga and more. Releasing almost exclusively on Bpitch Control, these charismatic spacers have also taken the time to remix the likes of My Robot Friend, Mi$$ Kitten, Smash TV and Knifehandchop. It's with their live and DJ shows where they've really made their reputation with show-stealing appearances at clubs and festivals across Europe. They don't play venues like EC very often so don't hesitate to get down. Opening the first bottle of Krug will be our very own Maynooth maddie, Rian Ryan to get the night off to an electric start. This chaos will be the perfect way to kick off our weekend of fourth birthday celebrations as all ticket holders will gain entry to Roman Flugel & Johannes Heil at Electric Shock on the Saturday night for e15. Tickets for this one available at Big Brother Records and City Discs in Temple Bar..

    Hello,

    It's nearly time to blow out the candles on our 4th birthday cake. Our party planner is booked and she will be transforming Wax on the night to look like a toddlers birthday party. Tickets for part 1 of the birthday celebrations are now available from City Discs as well as Big Brother records in Temple Bar. Don't forget all ticket holders will gain 15 euro entry to ES 10 on Saturday when another couple of Germans Johannes Heil and Roman Flugel will be playing at our Cocoon/Klang Geburtstag feiern.

    Thanks for all the support over the last few years and we hope to see some of you there as we count down the clock to the start of year four.
