"There were so many things that just happened there that were disrespectful". Blimey - burning the Koran, picketing the funerals of muslims.

/Sense of despair for humanity enveloping me

Enjoyed it last night but Louis concentrated on the couple of younger members that had left the group - is it just me or did it seem that there were more people involved since the last documentary? Pretty worrying if this type of groups numbers increase...

Hope there's a part 3 where they move to Jerusalem.

Enjoyed the programme last night. Was weird seeing the father and mother of the 2nd child who left...the father was definitely trying to get any info on his daughter, but you could see he couldn't really ask.

Catched it by chance this evening, didn't know it was on at all. Interesting how the focus is on the internal struggles with the families. I actually felt a bit sad for the older couple.

Thought it was pretty good, nauseating even in the first few minutes. Unfortunately, the Phelps seem to be as smart as they are stupid. The counter protests seem a little pointless and gives them the attention they crave.

"What are you, the Gestapo now?"

"Well, the bible would say that, wouldn't it?!"

New episode airing tomorrow night on BBC2 at 9PM.

Louis Theroux - Miami's 'Mega Jail'
With about 7,000 inmates, the Miami jail is one of the biggest in America - a so-called "mega-jail".

Up to 24 inmates are crowded into a single cell, living behind metal bars on steel bunks, sharing a single shower and two toilets, and as Louis told BBC Breakfast, are often left to their own devices by overwhelmed prison officials.

The two-part documentary, Louis Theroux: Miami Mega-Jail, is broadcast on BBC Two on Sunday 22 and 29 May at 2100 BST.

Watched it last night, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next weeks one.

Watched it last night. Really enjjoyed it too. Felt a bit sorry for the small dude with the glasses - i think i can handle myself pretty well but i would be terrified going into a cell like that. The prison wardens seem to turn a blind eye to whatever goes on in there. i'd say a week in there would be hell.

New episode on tonight at 9 on BBC2. - 'America's Most Dangerous Pets'
There are now more tigers in captivity in the US than in the wild in the rest of the world according to the World Wide Fund for Nature, as well as large numbers of lions, bears, chimpanzees and other dangerous primates.

Louis Theroux travels to America's heartlands to meet the owners of animals you would normally expect to find in the wilds of Africa and Asia, and finds himself in uncomfortably close contact with tigers and dangerous primates.

He hasn't though. He's only been on for the last month, and has been tweeting a lot over the last few days. Check his previous tweets.

Just checked and it mustn't be his official page I've been following all these months - @Theroux_Docs.

Must have a search fr his account now.

It's a bit meh so far. Kind of predictable given the title.

Yeah it was hard to see where it could go really.

Most entertaining thing was Louis tweeting along as the show was aired.

I enjoyed it. Mainly glowering at those selfish pr*cks. Admittedly less nuanced than Louis's usual offerings, though that guy sobbing over his brother's grave was (nearly) touching.

Oh ye of little faith. No need to search, I've given his real account.

That @Theroux_Docs. account is a fake account, which ironically has more followers that the actual Louis Theroux account.

    From twitter:
So my next doc to air will be about the porn industry in LA, a semi-follow-up to a show I made in 1997, w/ new stuff. Working title Porn 2.0
It will go out on BBC2 in mid or late March, all being well

He's revisiting 3 porn stars, JJ Michaels (the young straight lad doing gay porn), Rob Black and one other star, the rest are new people.
