Haha I knew someone would make this thread. Here's a few 90's gems off the top of my head for you guys:


I can never get enough of Hefner. One of the best indie bands of the late-90's and early 00's


Shoegaze and twee pop? Yes please, Secret Shine were doing it years before The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.


Fuzzed-out, spaced-out and so fucking awesome.


The best Neil Young cover ever. They completely made it their own.

Belly had some wonderful songs.





Tanya Donnelly's voice.. lovely.

Honey is Cool had some great stuff. Early Morning Are You Working is a great album (although I've found it impossible to find a physical copy of it anywhere)

And if Karin hadn't gone on to be in The Knife I'd probably never have heard of them.
