Could Ireland actually claim to have a special relationship with The US through this special relationship with The UK? It certainly couldn't otherwise, that's for sure.

I suppose SCB just goes to show how much international banking is corrupt. But the American authories have them in a corner. Loose their NY licence and SCB could be heading to the wall.

I hope not, purely for football reasons! Liverpool signed a big deal with them a year or so ago.
