Any word from Satboxes?

Hiya Lads

I've still had no joy from satboxes.com.
Been trying to get him for ages now?

I've emailed and texted loads of times?
Anyone else having problems?

never tried emailing them but got a delivery last week so they're still going strong. Order confirmation email came from sales@satboxes.com but it was automatically generated.

From what I understand lads, hes a one man operation. Could be really busy or perhaps preparing to go holidays. It is that time of year! I dealt with him a few times in person. Hes a very nice guy and very accomodating, never had any problems, but I did find he is quite busy more or less all the time. Check your spam filters also lads I remember one time I was ording stuff and he did reply but it was blocked by my work address. Should go through to gmail and stuff no bother I think.

Yeah I've met him several times and I usually text him and he replies and we meet up but I can't get him to get back to me and he doesn't answer his mobile any more.
I need to buy several of those Saorview Scart connectors for a hostel.
SKYSAT300 DVB-T Mpeg4 PVR

It says you can't get RTE2HD but is there are RTE2 SD on Saorview as well or does this mean you can't get any RTE2 channel?

Avoid that thing, it's no good for RTE2 on Saorview. There is no SD variant of RTE2, just HD, as it should be. There is every possibility that some/all of the others go HD in the future too...

There are versions of that "adaptor" thing that support HD if you're so inclined.

WIWA T50 Full HD DVB-T Mpeg 4 Receiver & Media Player

this one should do rte2hd. i got one like it and its ok, it was for an old tv up on a bracket and there was no space for a normal sized dvb-t box.

i tried a usb key in it and it does do timeshift and record. cheap and chearful but i don't think i'd use for my main tv as i have space for a proper sat/dvb-t combo.

I've bought a bit off him over the last couple of years. I remember him implying he was no longer answering phone calls or texts due to an increase in nuisance calls. I have never not got a reply from email though, he is always prompt to reply
