I was talking to a guy yesterday and we ended up on local myths.

He changed topic and said that this was true, that about 10yrs ago a cow was found in Campise, waterside Derry with its inside taken out from a tiny inscion, all the guts, organs and some muscles, all taken out and a big deal was made, the police came and the department of Agriculture set up a white tent.
He said it was aliens. I just want an article, or any one who remembers this.

He also said that where we were (up in the walls, Shipquay street) was very common for dogs and other animals to be found tongueless, and the jaw broken.

Up in the Glenshane Pass was common to find sheep a with the head smashed and again, tongueless.

Not sure what to think, many prey and scavengers take the tongue,

Anyone hear of this before and know more? Not sure where to put this to be honest.

Sounds like something from a Fringe episode. Aliens though, definitely aliens.

Ha, yeah, exactly why I would like any news articles or anything, but google is coming up blank. I just find the cow thing so bizzare, so I was hoping other people heard about it, considering the Agricultre dudes were up about it.

Ah, dead on.

I never thought of looking outside Ireland/UK (stupid of me), just watched that History/discovery show, and reading foot notes on wikipedia.

A bit iffy on that yellow text site myself, but I am finding this all very curious. Not sure what to think yet.
