Lenses Can't Be Removed from Frames

Okay, I'll rewrite this because I've been in touch again.

My optician can't replace my lenses because the screws are glued in and can't be removed. Is this common and is there any way around it?

Ha ha, no I didn't put the glue in. They've never been broken or loose or anything, I've had no reason to ever go at them.

So was the glue put on first day by the optician? Sometimes we use "threadlock" or "locktite" when securing the screw after putting in the lenses, this tightens around the screws threads to stop it loosening over time but should be easy to remove the screw again later with a little bit of pressure, unless the screw head is broken or domed from them trying to remove it????

It turns out they were able to use a solvent one the glue holding the screws in. It was just me getting ahead of myself and panicking over losing my glasses, all is okay now! Thanks for your replies.
