Holiday for 1 week - how many bikini's do i need?

so i am going on my 1st ever package holiday and I have only worn a bikini once in my life - hence i have 1 bikini.

how many bikini's do I need for 1 week in the sun?

do i need a different one for every day? would it matter if i wore the same one a few days? not sure if i will be lying on the beach every day…

i have looked around town and they are difficult to find at this stage,,

I definitely dont think you need one for every day. I'm going on hols next week and I'm bringing two bikinis so I can alternate day to day and give them time to dry off after swimming, etc, and a swimsuit for later in the week when I'm inevitably a bit bloated after a few days of excess

Fashion and Appearance as that is where your thread is showing up.

I would say two bikinis is enough, you really don't need a new bikini for every day.

I'd say two, three at the most, that way you can alternate them between days and let them dry properly etc.

www.asos.com sell bikinis and they have a sale on at the moment too.

Two to three max. Wash one, wear one. Ave a spare one in you hand luggage.

Yeah I usually bring three, but two is enough. Just wash it once you're done and it'll be dry in no time in that heat.

thanks for all the replies.

I think I will get one more nice one.. it is proving difficult though..

There are lots of tops and bottoms in debenhams but no pairs. And the one's in Dunnes are all the twist in the middle style one's and i don't like them.

I think I will just go for a bandeau style one as that way I will not be left with a tan mark.

There are a good few on line - m&s and asos have some..

if anyone see's any else where, please do let me know. thanks.

I bought some bikinis in tesco yesterday! They are reduced to between 2 and 4 euro and nice colours and styles.

I'd go with three - one to wear, one to change into after the first one gets wet and one to be the "rotational" one while the other two are being washed/dried.

Having said that, I went to Italy last month for 10 days and brought seven bikinis with me...
