Back 2 Education

Hi there, I need help asap, hope there is someone on here that can answer this for me........i am currently on back 2 education and will be returning to my 2nd year of my course in sept. Thing is...my boyfriend has asked me to move in with him, he works and earns under 300 a week.....if i moved in with him would this effect my back 2 education allowance and by about how much? AKA can i survive if i move in with him I have been on the relevent websites already but it doesnt seem to specify! Please Please Please can someone who is in a similar situation or knows the story get back to me as soon as you can!?!

It won't effect your BTEA.

However it may effect your grant application. As you're probably aware you are not eligible for the non-adjacent grant but can still apply for a grant to cover your fees.

If you declare your boyfriend's income in your household income in your grant application it may bring you over the income threshold but since you've already said he's on 300 a week, it should be a problem. I think the (threshold is about 24K)

I don't see this effecting you at all.
