Half truth, the proposed bill, which would be limited to New York state,
if passed. It's a state law not federal , reads as this
"Provides that a web site administrator shall remove any comments posted upon request unless the poster agrees to attach his or her name to the post" So it's not what you're saying at all, really.
Also, it'd fail any constitutional challenge as there is legal precedence that protects anonymity.
And, just because this isn't stupid enough - it'd be unenforceable anyway, seeing as the limits of the authority of this bill, if passed, is the border of New York state.
