I have two 'working' keys- that I wouldn't trust as far as I can throw them- and no refund of my postage, phone calls etc. These are the most expensive pieces of rubbish I've ever thrown in the bin. I don't even see whether they want the 'working' ones back or not- or whether I should just bin them.......

I have been one of the lucky ones it seems. The two I received about a week ago are still fine and working 100%.

However I was charged an extra €5 and I will never ever use the Living Social web site or the seller every again.

I am another who will never use Living Social again. This was a shocking scam and Living Social have made no effort to sort this out.

Couple of emails now and no reply from LS. Anyone good at making a letter heading from a law firm, Scheister Scheister and Schiester on behalf of a group of people. That will get them to listen to us.

wow, talk about an automated or generic response. They didnt even read my email to them. Naturally my reply was a little more forceful.

Edit: got a reply back already.

Thanks for your response, however unfortunately we will be unable to process a refund for you - what I can offer however, is a refund in Livingsocial credit on your account?

Please let me know should you wish me to proceed,
I'm going to ask if they could process the refund anyway. I am not interested in "store credit". Has anyone else had more success and what were the magic words to get them to spring for the full refund?

I emailed Bo-Vida, got them to test and send two working usbs, had been asked to send back the two broken ones.
Haven't moved them, no contact from them, they aren't too worried I'd say.

There is a way to make them usable again, but obviously only to the limit that they have.

Your refund request will be processed and depending upon your banking institution, the refund should be posted to your account within 3-5 business days. If any additional information is required to complete your request, we'll contact you.

Please note that once your refund request has been processed, it cannot be reversed for any reason.

Once bitten twice shy. I'll buy from a bricks and mortar only now where returning is easier. I'm avoiding deals/voucher sites for a long time.

There are plenty of reputable computer online sellers. I'm sticking with them in the future.
